I’m Conor, the Lead Artist for Ourea and one of the game’s audio designers. As art lead I get to direct the artistic aspects of the game and influence how the world of Ourea looks. I have been interested in designing game environments ever since I was introduced to Naughty Dog’s Uncharted series. They are one of my inspirations for this game.
I'm Robyn, the narrative lead of Ourea and I also do secondary art. I'm a huge fan of narrative-driven games like The Last of Us and What Remains of Edith Finch. I love games with beautiful graphics and interesting plots and aspire to create something of that quality myself.
I'm Tom, the design lead and secondary narrative. I love world-building and creating stories and that's how I got into design. I'm inspired by games that manage to tell meaningful stories without using dialogue like Journey but my favourite game is Mass Effect 2, I'd love to create a game with a similar depth to its characters and world.
I’m Sam, the technical lead for Ourea as well as being responsible for audio with Conor. Ourea has given me a chance to work on larger scale technical challenges which I've always enjoyed. I love games like INSIDE and Journey that implement a narrative in a visually stunning way and they are a massive inspiration for me and Ourea.
I'm Gary, the production lead of Ourea. I'm in charge of planning and organising the tasks surrounding the development of the game. I'm also the camera and cinematic programmer. As there's a big emphasis on cinematic shots in Ourea, I played a lot of team Ico games and they were a huge inspiration when it came to the camera.
